Oh What a beautiful Sunday

You know how you have Sundays that are just amazing, I am sure I am suppose to say every Sunday is amazing but that would be a lie so I am not. Yesterday just rocked. The lesson for your class we teach, Marriage and Famliy realations, was on the family being the center of the Lords plan and the blessings of eternal marrige. It was my turn to teach, I don't think I have ever been so excited to teach a lesson. I know these principles are true and I just couldn't wait to share them. Mark says the lesson went well, I know it changed the way I view things and makes me have a greater appreciation that Mark & I are sealed for eternity and I pray it touched others as well.
One of my favorite things to do is cook as husband and wife. Last night we did just that. We chatted in the kitchen while things cooked and I must say it was a pretty amazing meal! I know a random picture of sweet potatoes covered in Marshmallows doesn't make much sense to most of you but this is how my mom always prepares our sweet potatoes and I had to have my mallows on top. I combined my Mom's & Marks Mom's recipe, I think they were great. I actually ate myself sick on them, this could be bad a bad sign for Thanksgiving... Maybe I had better avoid the yams!! Isn't my cooking husband cute???

What I do...

Yesterday I got to decorate a cake for Mark cousins baby shower, Kathy. Due to her allergy to glutent I only had to decorate which only created about half the mess. I decided it was time to document this process.

Saturday (yes I'm a little behind) we got to babysit Axton since Matthew & Kristin were in Florida for the rocket launch and Aunt Laurie was preforming in Craig Jesops Choir. We also got to play with Miles & Sara, we started our night with dinner at Blue Bird (there is no other place to eat according to miles) than played with Axton and of course a little wii!!

Friday we spent the day playing with Mom in Provo. After a very yummy dinner at Mimi's Cafe we got to attend the BYU Singers & BYU Concert Choir performance. It is always so fun to see Emily & James preform. If you watch BYU television you might see the concert aired, they recorded for future broadcast. It was amazing so if you get a chance try to watch it. I love going to Provo, my dad just fell of his chair he is not a big fan of BYU, I have so many wonderful friends there and I am so happy each time I get to see them. We never get to see all our friends in one trip but this time we got to see multiple friends so it was extra great!! We mingled at the concert hall or HVAC for a while (where we got to see Natalie) than off to Coney's frozen custard for a treat with Mom, Emily & James and his parents. Emma & Kevin met us there also. Frozen custard covered in Chocolate over brownies & great friend life just doesn't get much better! Aunt Karen was nice enough to let us crash at her house for the night so we didn't have to drive back to Logan, so we drove to Murray and caught some much needed zzz's.






Saturday morning we got to actually visit with Aunt Karen which is always fun, she rocks! We also got to visit Mark's Oma (Opa was on an errand) before dropping Mom off at the airport. It is always sad when it comes time to say goodbye, but we get to be in Chicago on Dec 18 for Christmas so it won't be to long till we all get to play again!!

Mom Hendricks was here this last week, she came up to visit on Thursday. It was a quick trip that was fun & busy. We visited with Grandma & Granddad and ate aggie ice cream. Got to see the clubhouse and Aunt Laurie's and Uncle Bryce's house. Mom got to meet her new great-niece Annalisa Karin & I got to play with the adorable Lee!!






I left Mark in Logan that afternoon and went to Salt Lake with Mom. Our plan was to see Saviour of the World with Natalie but schedules/timing issues didn't get us there on time. Our evening of walking around temple square was amazing...isn't it nice how when things don't go according to plan what happens can be better than the original plans!

You all probably sick of seeing our pictures of hanging out every weekend, but it is our blog so I'm gonna post them cause I want to. We had a marvelous evening on Friday playing with Matthew, Kris & Axton... even if Matthew did turn into the tickle monster for awhile. Sorry Kris I'll work on our monster controlling system before next time.












I got to spend most of Saturday afternoon shopping with my Sister, Jessie. I don't know if we really accomplished everything we set out to do but it was fun! Thanks for calling and asking me to come sis!
Saturday night Miles & Sara came over to see us. It was mucho fun! We played wii, laughed ate yummy moon cake (made by Sara) and laughed some more. Hey Jess remember when you sat in Mom's moon cake??? Ah good times in the Nash family!

Family Sunday

Sunday Mark's cousins Lisa & Cody blessed there new baby girl Annalisa Karin. It is so amazing the spirits our Heavenly Father gives to the children coming to the earth. Thanks for letting us be part of your special day!!



We spent Sunday evening/afternoon at Granddad & Grandma's with the family, it was great!! Grandma told the guys they were going to sing "I need thee Every Hour" It was gorgeous! I wasn't quick enough with my phone to video tape it. James sang the solo in the song, his voice just blows me away. I wish I would have recorded so you could all hear it. The voices of all the guys (Mark, James, Matthew, Granddad, Uncle Bryce & Mike) blended so well it was breath taking. We had a wonderful dinner and celebrated Uncle Bryce's birthday. Now get together would be complete with out games so we played wii, since we had our up there from out Saturday night adventures.

Friday our friend Natalie Hess came up from Salt Lake for Halloween! First off the two of us went to High School Musical 3, I don't care if I am an adult I loved it! After we came home and rushed to get ready to attend Steve & Candice's Halloween party. I think our costumes look pretty good, I am getting more comfortable on the sewing machine thanks to these costumes.




Saturday brought about the annual PUMPKIN BLOW in Weston. We had lots of friends and family join us for the fun. I don't know why but for some reason watching things blow up is just exciting!!




My parent let us all invade their backyard for a wonderful BBQ after the pumpkin blow.. it was great!! I love being in Weston, especially on crisp falls days.



Saturday night we spent with James and Em playing. We loved having them in town, seeing Em is always fun and it was great to get to know James better.
