A little Noah to brighten your day.
Noah made a new friend at Grandpa & Grandma N's house last week. They get along really well.
Mark says he is going to be like me & never shut up (okay he said it in nicer words but that was the basic idea) I think he might be right.

6 months past.
Noah is 8 months & 1 week old, meaning I started back to work 6 months ago! How did that happen? One perk of going back to work is getting to weigh & measure Noah on the doctor office equipment basically whenever I want. Today Mark brought him by so we could get his 8 month measurements for his baby book & we discovered why 9-12 month clothes fit so well & 6-9 month clothes are getting a little short.

Height 29.75in 95%
This is how we have found Noah for the last few mornings & nap times, he loves his bumper & how soft it is. I had moved him about an hour before this back to a normal spot and he moved right back to where he wanted to be. Crazy Kid! This morning he did sleep in a normal spot but was on his tummy again, guess he takes after his parents on being a tummy sleeper.

Saturday we had or friends Jordan & Kim over, they have the cutest little girl Lizzie who is 6 months older than Noah. I always forget how tall Noah is till he's next to someone older than him and they are the same height. I guess the fact that at his last appointment he was 29 inches this shouldn't surprise me anymore.
The kids were so cute together that I had to share a few pictures!
I wish I new what they were saying to each other.

Friday we made a trip down south & got to visit Opa & Oma while we were there. Noah had lots of fun playing with them & his cousin Devon.
Noah also got to have his very first Leibniz cookie from Oma, he loved it! The rest of the cookies are safely stored in the diaper bag to help us get through church tomorrow.
We also got to go visit our friends Jordan & April at their new house. Noah got to enjoy a few of the new stories April got at a shower for the coming arrival of their twin boys. We are so excited for Noah to have 2 new friends!

We have Netflix instant stream on our wii, if any of you have Netflix you'll notice they have some really random movies. Anyway today on the "new" movies was Fat Head a documentary about a guy who decides to follow up Super Size me and lose weight while eating fast food. My interest got me and I just had to watch it. I am 30 minutes in and well there is something that bothers me about BOTH these shows; no fast food is not making the US fat and on the other hand it can't make us skinny either.
Simple things can solve this whole obesity epidemic we are currently stuck in I won't go into the list. But seriously people when did it become the fault of others that we couldn't control what we ate, how much we ate or if were active at all! This world is in crazy danger of being taken over by a stupid epidemic!
Guess what people according to the government I am obese! Yep that's right, I am obese and actually at when I was in high school cheering 6 times a week I was considered over weight. Explain that to me!
I also know that it's my choice to eat what I want & how much I want. Yes I am working on weight loss, but here's a shocker I will probably be over weight my entire life. To be "normal"I have to lose almost 70 pounds, last time I was even close to that my hip bones showed....that's healthy!
Sorry for the soap box but Mark isn't home & someone had to hear my opinion. I am now going to go eat a no bake cookie & hit the pool for some exercise.
