Sunshine during the Storm....

Since spraining my ankle work has been really hard to handle, usually resulting in my resting my foot in a draw with ice surrounding it. Today Mark stopped by to get his parking pass out of the cavalier. He came in and told me a quick hello and ran off to campus before he had to go to work. I was busy running around (well limping/gimping) around the office and when I finally got back to my desk there was a beautiful flower arrangement with a card. It was the highlight of my day, the rest kind of sucked. Now I am home and Mark has the house cleaned and laundry done, I have the best husband in the world!!

50 years.....

Yesterday we had the opportunity to celebrate Oma & Opa Zwick's 50th wedding anniversary it was a luau themed celebration , we had family pictures taken I'll post them when I get our CD Below are a few pics from the party.

Friday we got to attend the wedding of our dear friends Jordan & April in the Logan temple. It was a beautiful day! They are so in love, it was great to be part of their wonderful day. I've included a few pictures for your viewing

Boys will be Boys

Mark found some foam swords at Michaels last week when I was dragging him around looking for cake decorating supplies and since he'd been such a supportive husband I told him to pick out a couple and we could play with them later. Well we haven't played with them yet, I keep hurting myself. Right now I am sitting on my couch with an elevated foot an taking lortab for a severe sprain of my ankle, its not broken we xrayed it at work today. Anyway Miles came over tonight and he and Mark fought a bit, of course I had to take a picture, see how brave they are covering there faces.

New toy... I mean phone

After many struggles with my old phone, like trying to wash it and such, it was finally time for my upgrade. So Kristin and I loaded Axton in the car and took off for Preston, the nearest Alltel store is there, to replace my phone. We got to meet my mom for lunch, good times, she then attempted to help me pick out my phone but decided I was complicated so she went back to work. I finally decided on this orange slider, I was sick of the flip phone why you ask....my flip usually resulted in me throwing my phone across the room so we'll see if a slider works better for me aka miss clutzy! I had to show you how fun it looks, its orange (I know I already said that but its sweet!!)

Good Times at the Hendricks home

This is Heather, she was my roommate for 2 years in Pocatello, one my bridesmaids and one of the best friends I have. She came to visit Mark and I yesterday and stayed over. We had so much fun, did a little shopping, ate a good dinner. Than finished of the night watching Meet the Robinsons and eating Tall Cake from Ruby Tuesdays!! Oh yum!


This morning I helped Heather cover Books of Mormon for her family reunion this afternoon, they turned out really cute. They are the travel size covered to stay nice and have a built in ribbon book mark. They turned out great, and we had a good time giggling while making them!

I just love this girl, it would be nice if we didn't live so far away from each other but alas we do so we have to enjoy all the time we have together.


pppphhh, I have no idea if that is how you spell it but you know when you teach little kids to blow air out their lips and it makes funny noises well we did that this morning for like 30minutes, resulting in laughing so hard I couldn't sit up. Mark says the neighbors across the street could hear us.... I don't think we are that loud. Sadly our camera can't record noise so just imagine it.

Moo, Hu?

You know that moment of sleep where you are hoping the alarm was not real and you actually have a couple more hours for sweet dreams. This morning I was in that point of slumber and there was a oddly familiar sound from childhood out side my window "moo" opening my eyes I thought "no I'm not in Weston, I'm in my bed. What is going on?" I slowly opened our curtains to see multiple cop cars in front of our house, even stranger a black cow was waddling across our lawn. Odd we have no cows, my interest was peeked by the realization that "moo" I heard was real and not a dream. I jumped out bed and ran to our living room windows, even more cows covered our back lawn. I had to get Mark involved so I made him hurry up in the shower. Still wet he looked out the window and was as confused as me. I went into the kitchen and stood at the back window till one of the officers noticed me and came over to inform me that cows had got out and ended up in our yard......... well du?!?! I wanted to hand him a here's your sign award, but since he could arrest me I just listened to him and made breakfast. After the rounding up of the cow owner the cows they were cleared off our property and life continued on as normal, well as normal as our life ever is!
Of course I had to take pictures so you could all see the oddness of our morning.

You know you're in trouble when the officers are just standing there, I could have offered help I know how to herd cows but it was fun to watch them all look confused and not sure this was really happening.
