Monday our friend Wendy invited us to visit the zoo with her & Taege. Getting out of the house for awhile sounded nice so Noah & I ventured out in the hot sun.

July 24th
Saturday Noah went for his first "car trip" all the way to my parents house. He did rather well, once I got the binky in his mouth on the ride up....this is not easy when you are driving in the car alone, but we survived. We spent the day hanging with family & watching everyone enjoy the waterslide. The day ended with a very yummy picnic & awesome fireworks display, this is a tradition at my parents house that we have missed out on for a few years it was nice to be there this year.
Sadie thought she wanted to ride down the slide on Mark's back so he showed how fast it would be, this splash is the end result. She decided she'd rather go on his lap.

Weeks update
Right before leaving the hospital we were alerted Noah's bili level was high so we'd have to get it rechecked the next day. It was still high so Noah got to spend the next 4 days on bili lights, and got to have his blood drawn everyday also. Finally yesterday we got the go ahead to take him off the lights. We thought it was a great 1 week Birthday present. He sleeps much better in his craddle, which means we get to sleep better too.
I broke the rules & let him kick around of the lights for about an hour on Monday, he was just so happy & cute. He has started to make cute little squeak sounds, I can't figure out how to use our new video camera with blogger or I'd post the video of him.
Monday Noah got to use his new stroller from Grandma N & Aunt Jessie. This is the look he had on his face most of the ride....I think it is his what are you doing to me face. We took him out again yesterday, he fell asleep so it must not be to bad of a ride.
