Be prepared the following is a long update!

Thursday August 12
Mom H came up to spend sometime with Noah, I mean us ;) before she headed back home. It was the county fair so we decided to walk down & see if there was anything interesting. Miles also happened to have a softball game that night, we took a break & walked to his game....of course the Spudz won.

The fair was fun with lots of yummy food & interesting people watching. Have you ever wondered where the "interesting" people who show up at couny fair's come from, they seem to appear once a year & than disappear.

This is for Dad/Grandpa H...the cupholders work great on the stroller your diet coke will be safe.

Friday August 13
This entire day almost passed before we realized it was Friday the 13th, no really it was like 11pm before we realized it. Luckily for us we didn't have anything terrible happen. We went to Bear Lake that day with some of my family, Mom H even stayed to go with us! It was a beautiful day. Noah has already figured out the best way to enjoy Bear Lake is lounging on the beach, smart kid!

What is wrong with this picture?

Aunt Jessie & Uncle Mike had been gone for 2 weeks visting Mike's sister so they came over to see Noah. Jessie says he didn't remember them but I think he did cause he woke up to play with them.

One of my roommates Heather, came to visit us the weekend also . We haven't seen each other in sometimes so it was very fun.


Noah also got a new toy this week, a vibrating chair. We hadn't bought one because he seemed to enjoy his swing so much but a few weeks ago he after his bath we were drying him off on the washer (small apartments mean you have to get creative sometimes) well the spin cycle started & he was in heaven. We told Jessie who suggested a vibrating chair, she was correct he loves it!

Saturday August 14

Happy 1 month Birthday Noah

After a much needed morning of sleeping in we headed to the fair again, I found a hair accessory booth I needed to visit again. We ended up running into some of the my friends from work so we sat down & had lunch with them. Noah didn't even mind wearing his hat to not get sunburned.

After the fair we headed to my parents house for some ag-bag sliding.

It's kind of hard to see in the picture but that is a giant dirt devil that was probably 10-15 miles away from us, it was crazy.

Our friend Jed also joined us for the water slide fun.

Sunday August 15

Heather hung around & braved our student ward with us. After church she had to head back to Idaho & we headed to family dinner at Aunt Laurie's. Sadly I didn't get any pictures there.

Monday August 16
Nothing to exciting happend this day but Noah looked so cute pictures had to be taken.

Noah is getting really good at holding his head up.

Tuesday August 17
Noah & I decided that Mark shouldn't have to eat lunch in the cafeteria at work everyday by himself so we picked him up & had a picnic by the river.

As some of you may remember Mark's sister Emily was due with her little girl 3 days after my actual due date of July 29. She had her little Gracie August 4 at 3:28pm, making Gracie & Noah 3 weeks & 20 minutes apart. Saturday we made the 2-2.5 hour drive to visit them, Noah did pretty well on the way down but not so much on the drive home. We got stuck in construction 3 or 4 times, he was tired & hungry so whenever the car would stop he'd scream. We finally made it home after 3.5 hours in the car.

I couldn't decide which pictures of the 2 cousins I liked best so I just had to share a bunch! Hopefully life will bring these 2 cousins many adventures together. I know growing up my cousins were the best playmates, I hope the same for these 2.

Emily & Grace are both doing well, we can't wait for more play dates!

When Noah was born his hair was pretty curly, it goes this way when it wet but than straightens out when dry. Sunday I wondered what would happen with a little gel, see below.

I hope he grows up with curls, my cousin Robert has the family curly hair & it is so adorable. (is it bad to call my 16 yr old cousin adorable?)

Noah & I just got home from a lovely evening walk, even if the mosquitoes thought I should be dinner :( I didn't cover Noah like usual since the sun was down & there was no wind, I think he enjoyed the experience much more not being in the dark the whole time. When I looked down to check on him he looked so handsome I had to take a picture.

I sent this to Mark to which he replied " He looks like he's saying Mommy dearest, may we please go for a walk?"

One of our friends is a photographer here in town, she was kind enough to do Noah's first photo shoot. She has such a talent for taking pictures, check them out.

Last weekend we went to my parents house. Friday night my Mom watched Noah so we could go to the Rodeo, we haven't been for a few years so it was fun to go again. Saturday Sadie & Jake came to my parents house & really wanted Mark to go down the waterslide with them, he tried to explain how he didn't have have his swimming suit so he couldn't go down. They were very confused by this because they were just going to go in their underwear & didn't understand why Mark couldn't do the same. I just love little kids! He convinced them to go out in the pond on Grandpa's new row boat, they were not impressed but they didn't ask him to go down the slide in is underwear anymore.

Sunday Noah has his first church going experience, however it was not in our ward. Due to his parents having forgetful moments we had to go back to Weston Sunday so we went to my parents ward. Noah got to wear Mark's blessing outfit, it is almost to short but still fits him really cute.

I just love how he sleeps, his hands always above his head or next to his face.
