I have two major annoyances today and since I am home alone you all get to read about it.
1) if you come into the doctors office ( or go any where for that matter) thinking your child or you has the swine flu! We won't even charge ya extra, they are free! I don't want it and promise no one else does so stop breathing on me and touching everything!!
2) Eddie Bauer sucks! I ordered a cardigan from them on June 13 for my sister-in-laws wedding. It was perfect, color and length for what I needed. This order was placed in store & I was told no problem you'd have it by the 24th when you leave for the wedding. Well today in the 22nd, no sweater. I contacted customer service hoping for a positive answer....yeah right. The 29th is the expected day of delivery.....I'm sorry I recall asking if I'd have it by the 24th. The don't care that I am 48 hours from the wedding with no top to wear. It is going to take me a while to purchase anything from them again. If you can't have it here, tell me! Don't lie to me cause I'll figure it out, idiots!
Anyone have a light pink cardigan in a size Large for long torso's that I can have by tomorrow?

Two times the fun!
This past week both my Mom & sister Jessie celebrated their Birthdays. Thursday night we had cake & ice cream at our house, since we couldn't leave because of work. Happy Birthday you most amazing woman!

2 years & counting!
At 10 am this morning it marked 2 years since Mark & I entered our marriage ceremony in the Logan LDS temple. It seems so crazy that we've been married for only 2 years, it is hard to remember that Mark hasn't always just been there with me.
We both had the day off today which was nice since due to our house job we wouldn't get to have a real anniversary date tonight so we opted to spend the day together.
We started the morning by going to the temple with the intent of preforming sealings. While trying to find a parking spot we saw Grandpa & Grandma S. car, random that we'd be at the temple same day & same time sadly didn't think we'd see them. We didn't get to preform sealings due to the time we were there so we decided to attend a session instead, we had fun surprise when we saw Granddad & Grandma H before we went to the waiting room & another surprise when we got the waiting room and Grandpa & Grandma S were sitting there waiting. It was so wonderful to get to attend the session with them, we don't get to see them near as much as we would like due to our work schedules. After the temple the 4 of us headed to the Copper Mill for a fabulous lunch, actually between the food & people we were with I'd say it was a fantasticly amazing lunch!
When we got married 2 years ago Mark's parents were kind enough to let us have their old couches, we have loved these couches (espeically finiding random legos & barbie accessories in the cushions). We have been thinking about replacing them & handing them down to James & Emily so they have somewhere to sit after they are married. Due to the fact of random thunderstorms in the valley recenlty we decided hiking was out of the question and somehow we ended up couch shopping, after sitting on many (and I mean MANY) couches we ended up at Edwards anniversary sale. Where we found & fell in love with our new couch, that is right I said NEW COUCH!! It is so perfect, (see picture) we can't wait to get it into our apartment, cuddle up and watch a movie on it! What better way to celebrate 2 years of marriage than by buying a new couch....we couldn't think of one. Happy Anniversary Babe, thanks for the couch!

Here in a nut shell are our last few days in California, we had so much fun! It was hard to see the trip end but great to come home & see our nephew. We missed him so much, I can't imagine how much his parents missed him. Enjoy!

Today we had a once in a lifetime experience....we went ocean kayaking! It was amazing, scary and wonderful! I don't have pictures of it at this point, need to develop our underwater camera which probably won't happen till next week. After that we explored La Jolla for a little while and found a place that you can design your own frozen yogurt. Pick your flavor(s) add toppings and than they charge by the ounce, it took us a very long time to decide on what combination's to create and in the end the time paid off, yum!
During the welcome meeting on Monday morning we won a $10 of gift certificate for an Italian restaurant down the beach. It was wonderful! The owners are from Italy so it was truly authentic and oh so delicious! In case you are ever in the Dana Point, CA area you should check out out, Agostino's Risotrante Italian by the Sea.
After eating ourselves full we decided a treat should be had later in the evening and fried ice cream sounded great, so we asked the lady at the front where to go for this. She looked at us really odd & said she'd never heard of this. We found in interesting, she called a few local authentic places and no one had heard of it so we started searching for it. We found it just not at any authentic mexican restaurants. It was yummy! Pictures aren't very good, we only had our cellphones.

It is morning now & we are off to have another day full of adventure! Only 2 more days and it'll be back to real life, ready for some normalcy but at the same time I am really gonna miss the ocean crashing & the sun shining! I am not dwelling on this....I am off for a fun filled day!

Today we met up with my cousin Jenni and her kids; Dustin, Shaylee & Whitley, for a beach day. It was so much fun! Even if it was cold till about 1230, we built sand castles and tunnels till the sun came out than hit the waves on some boogy boards! Yes we are sun burned and very confused at how we got that way, we used so much sun screen!!
Mark was not sure in and out would meet his standards, it did! Good burger!!

After our yummy dinner we headed to Anaheim for the White Sox vs. Angels game. Even though the Sox's had a rough night it was great to support our team!
